Lentink advies?

Preparing or auditing financial statements in the healthcare sector requires a detailed background in financial flows, as sector specialist Marcel van Zwam knows well. ‘Over the years at Lentink, we’ve gained a great deal of knowledge about financial flows in healthcare, from the Long-term Care Act (Wet langdurige zorg, WLZ) to the Healthcare Insurance Act (Zorgverzekeringswet, ZVW) and from the Social Support Act (Wet maatschappelijke ondersteuning, WMO) to the Youth Act (Jeugdwet). We also keep a close eye on the constantly changing regulations, so that we can provide healthcare institutions with the best possible support, for example also in special tasks with protocols.’

A culture that connects

Marcel is a manager at Lentink. In addition to the challenges associated with working for healthcare institutions, the healthcare culture also appeals to him. ‘It’s quite an open culture. Administrators are primarily concerned with the provision of good healthcare, and institutions or healthcare companies have often been founded with this goal in mind,’ says Marcel.

Discussion partner on regulations

This intrinsic drive to deliver good quality and do the right thing aligns closely with Lentink’s culture, as does the method of collaboration. ‘We tailor these to the customer’s needs and wishes. But we’re always available as a discussion partner anyway, for example in the event that there are changes to the legislation.’
